About Me

Dr. Sotodeh

I am a psychotherapist, writer, and lifelong student of the human experience.

My work is centered on understanding the ways people navigate grief, identity, migration, relationships, and the search for belonging. Throughout my professional journey, I have been drawn to the stories we carry, the questions we struggle with, and the experiences that shape who we become.

I believe that many of life’s most important challenges are not problems to be solved, but experiences to be understood. Healing often begins when we allow ourselves the space to reflect, to feel, and to make meaning of our experiences.

Through therapy, writing, and conversation, I aim to create a space where curiosity, self-understanding, and emotional growth can emerge naturally.

This website is an extension of that work—a place to share reflections, ideas, and conversations about the complexities of being human.
